THE SOLUTION

Thanks to the Turboden ORC technology, the waste resource of the industrial process (heat) is valued and transformed into electricity. Moreover, since the turbine shaft is directly connected to a compressor, part of the electricity produced is used by the company for the production of compressed air.

The electric power is 400kW while the compressed air production amount is 55,4 Nm³/min at 7 bar.

This is the first ORC plant for both electric and compressed air production and is an excellent energy efficiency business case.
