In June 2015 the Board of Directors of Turboden approved the first release of the Organization, Management & Control Model, pursuant to the Italian Legislative Decree 231/01 on “administrative liability” of legal entities. Turboden’s Organization Model is an effective tool to prevent the risk of crime commission by individuals who act on behalf of the Company and is a suitable system to aid the business management creating and protecting the value of the Company.

The Code of Ethics is a fundamental part of the Organizational Model, being a document that contains the ethical principles that inspire the daily business and corporate activities, for the reliability and the positive reputation of the Company. TURBODEN AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Turboden activity is intimately connected to environment protection, because:

1

Turboden plants generate electric energy from renewable sources otherwise difficult to exploit, such as low-temperature geothermal water.

2

By not using fossil fuels to produce this electricity, Turboden contributes significantly to the global struggle against global warming by decreasing CO2 emissions.

3

Most of Turboden units are employed for cogeneration, generating both electricity and heat for local use, allowing a very efficient use of the available energy.

4

Particular care is given to the selection of safe and environmentally friendly working fluids.

5

Water consumption is normally avoided by utilising closed-circuit systems.

6

Turboden units are mostly made of metal, and at the end of their long operating life machines are simply scrapped and recycled.

Turboden care for the environment doesn't stop at the product level as the company implements an Environment Health & Safety Management System (EH&S), which aims at minimizing the risk of accidents to protect the workers' health and prevent environment pollution.
