The future of paper runs on green steam

09 October 2026

Industrial steam generation is entering a new era thanks to high-temperature heat pumps.

Turboden project developed for Delfort Group demonstrates how process waste heat can be recovered and converted into steam at temperatures of up to 180°C, reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

With a thermal capacity of 12 MWth and a production of approximately 20 tonnes of steam per hour, the solution combines energy efficiency, operational reliability, and seamless integration into existing processes.

A replicable technology model designed to accelerate the decarbonisation of the paper industry without compromising performance.
