THE CUSTOMER

Güres is the largest integrated egg plant in the Republic of Turkey. Its combined structure hosts egg production plants, feed factory, egg tray factory, broody hen, pullet, breeding productions plants, fertilizer productions plants, and technology factory. Güres Group is producing annually 800,000,000 eggs and is servicing to the entire Turkey and overseas market through layer hen cage productions, in closed area of 200,000 square meters and on open area of 600,000 square meters.

THE NEED

Güres needs hot water to dry up the chicken litter before the combustion and electricity to sell to the grid in order to access the feed-in tariff specific for bioenergy. The company gets a special rate because the energy is created by biomass and because the technology was manufactured in Turkey.

OUR SOLUTION

The Turboden 2.3 MWe ORC converts the heat from the combustion of chicken litter into electric power and hot water that feed the dryer system.
